A Boardwalk to Suit Your Project
Signature Series pre-engineered boardwalks are available in three configurations: pedestrian only (3 kPa), shared path (5 kPa) accommodating small vehicles up to one tonne, and emergency vehicle (5 kPa) accommodating vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes.
Specifying your boardwalk is simple. Determine the required span based on the project location, then round up to the nearest metre shown in the Boardwalk Table. Options range from 3m mini boardwalks and 4m to 14m pedestrian boardwalks, through to longer modular truss boardwalks from 16m to 30m.
Signature Series boardwalks are available in widths from 2000mm to 3500mm, allowing you to select the configuration that best suits the intended use.
Complete your boardwalk with a choice of mesh or covertop decking and either a Pedestrian Barrier Handrail or Shared-Path Barrier Handrail.

Unlike traditional steel or concrete structures, Wagners CFT Signature Series boardwalks are manufactured from advanced Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP). Lightweight, corrosion resistant and engineered for long-term performance, Signature Series combines clever engineering with modern materials to provide a durable, permanent infrastructure solution that is simpler to transport, install and maintain.
Colour & Coating
Wagners CFT use two different types of coating for its structural profiles including fluoropolymer coating for direct sunlight or marine environments and high-quality polyurethane for indirect sunlight and non-corrosive environments.
Fluoropolymer has been engineered to resist ultraviolet (UV) light and other weathering effects extremely well with minimal loss of gloss and colour over its life.
Wagners CFT has been providing FRP structural solutions for asset owners for more than 23 years and have found high-quality coatings such as fluoropolymers and polyurethanes will outperform resin infused UV inhibitors in Australia’s harsh and highly corrosive environments.

Decking & Handrail Options
Specifically designed for durability and long-term performance, Wagners FRP decking is highly resistant to rot, rust, corrosion, termites and acid sulfate soils from the surrounding ground. The material’s low slip, fire-resistance and non-conductive properties enhance safety for users in a wide range of environments.
Under the Signature Series bridge kit components, you can choose from either Mini-Mesh or Covertop Decking. Then it’s as simple as choosing either your Pedestrian Barrier or Shared-path Barrier handrail options.
