Completed in early 2026, the Solomontown Beach renewal forms part of Stage 1 of the Port Pirie Riverbank Precinct Master Plan, transforming the foreshore into a more accessible and welcoming destination for the community.
Working alongside Build by Andy, Tonkin, GC&J Constructions and Port Pirie Regional Council, Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) supplied FRP structural components for the new beach shelter, elevated viewing deck and accessible beach access ramp.
Designed to embrace the coastal setting, the upgraded facilities provide a comfortable place for residents and visitors to relax, connect and enjoy uninterrupted waterfront views while improving access to the shoreline.
Marine environments present some of the harshest conditions for traditional construction materials. Constant exposure to salt spray, moisture and UV radiation can accelerate corrosion, decay and ongoing maintenance requirements.
